Veatch
This is another semi-macro image of a ground cover plant in front of
my work place. This one is a variety of flowering veatch, also known
as a sweet pea. The blossoms were in constant motion from the wind
while I was shooting, which caused some images to show frame interlace
effects that lead me to think the image sensor in this camera, and its
associated circuitry, was original built for television or video camera
applications.
In this particular image I managed to catch a lull in the breeze --
trickier than it sounds because of the significant delay between pushing
the "shutter" button and the actual capture while the camera tests for
correct exposure. Unlike the previous images in this album, this
one has been slightly enhanced; the brightness and contrast were adjusted
and I applied a mild sharpening filter.
