Star Rider 1 Estes 12" Parasheet Estes A8-3 Normal liftoff, flight straight with no apparent effect from small canards on nose cone; ejection approximately one second early.
Star Rider 2 Estes 12" Parasheet Estes B6-4 Normal flight, some arcing evident toward "top" of model, i.e. pitch up axis. Delay again a little short.
Blue Star 1 12" plastic streamer Estes 1/2A6-2 Piston worked as expected, but will require cleaning after each flight. Model ejected motor, but recovery system operated normally also.
Star Rider 3 Estes 12" Parasheet Aerotech 18/20 RMS, D13-7T reload kit After four attempts to launch, a new igniter resulted in a instant igniton, straight high flight with small amount of pitch-up arcing. Ejection failed, model lawn-darted from appr. 1400 feet into swampy area; model and reload casing lost.
